There is an agenda in our world of greed, profit at the expense of others, usury, and power over at any cost. It shows up in many systems, with many faces, under many models.
Patriarchy, colonialism, and power over leadership, are some of the names it has been given. It is usually seen as a male agenda.
Even those who consider themselves very conscious and awake hold to a belief that all that exists can be explained as "love" or "fear", duality. When you consider the attributes and behavior of "fear" you realize that they are totally different from the attributes and behavior of "evil"/usury. Fear is what the agenda of usury feeds upon.
The element that takes away life is just like a parasite and lives on the life force of others. In order to maintain its presence, it acts in dictatorial ways, ignores input from others, values win/lose, and considers secrecy and deceit necessary. It is "evil" because it will suck away life from those it is among.
By giving it one face or name, we miss the many places it has invaded our lives.
