Witch Hunts
As you go through your life, there are uncomfortable situations in which you have found yourself. Children feel the emotional upset of the adults around them and so when a mother is tired, feels unsupported and scared, the child senses these emotions and trying to make sense of her world, makes up a story such as, "I am an extra burden to my mom and will keep very quiet to help her."
Our history is filled with extreme experiences such as those of our ancestral mothers and grandmothers who lived in fear during the witch trials, the searing pain of burning at the stake or the violence, rape and torture directed at women and children during much of history.

We know that women were persecuted from the 13th century into the 18th century. Millions of women and girls were executed for "witch craft". After purges in some German villages, there were no women or girls left.
The torture of the female has existed from the beginning.
Even today, the persecution, torture, violence and rape of women and children is still a major global atrocity. Unhealed patterns will cause situations to repeat. Releasing this energy is critical.
This energy rippled and became frozen as cellular memory. It remains within the female psyche and every female baby inherits the patterns.
How does it show up in our lives today? Fear of speaking out, reluctance to step outside of the acceptable "box", pulling other sisters down, living for male approval, silence in the face of violence and diminishing their personal dreams .
